Crafty Hen Parties!
Crafty hens are perfect for a relaxed and fun afternoon activity. They suit all ages and skill levels. You will not only have a memorable time but also create a keepsake to remember the day.
All instructors have art degrees and plenty of experience facilitating workshops. If you have another craft that you are interested in doing please let us know!
Workshops last between 1.5 -2 hours
We travel approx 1 hour from Dungarvan.
Pottery
Learn how to make pottery. You can make a tealight holder, lace impressed decorations, ceramic bunting or anything else. We provide all the materials and equipment needed with expert tuition.
This workshop is great because clay is such a flexible and tactile material. It’s a bit less fiddly then a sewing activity. You need no experience at all but if some guests have experience they are welcome to create what they like!
This is not a super messy option. We can provide aprons to wear if you wish.
After the Party
The clay pieces need to dry and are then fired in our kiln. they can be posted back to one address (Included in the fee) or collected.

Flower Crowns
Make your own flower crown. We bring a variety of fake flowers and leaves for everyone to choose from.
We provide all the equipment needed to assemble your crown. Why not wear it in the evening if you like!

Jewellry Making
Design and make your own beaded jewellery. Guests can make their choice of 2 of the following necklace, earring and bracelets.
We bring a large variety of glass, wooden and gem stone beads to choose from. Plus all the other equipment that is needed.
This is a very relaxed option where guests will string beads and chat away.

Knicker Customisation
Oh fancy pants! In the workshop the guests get to customise their own pair of knickers. We bring a hugh variety of materials ribbon, lace, little bows, buttons, sequins and more! This is a fun and relaxed workshop where anything goes!
Some previous sewing experience is useful for this option but we will be on hand to help out.

FAQ'S
You can use a hotel room, rented house, at home a hall, a bar a community centre.
You generally need a table for everyone to sit around plus another table to put materials on. We can work to your space and recommend an option if this is not possible.
Yes if you decide to book we need a deposit to secure your date. The deposit is not refundable however it can be used for another date if you need to postpone.
We don’t have minimum numbers but we have a minimum charge of the cost of 8 guests. this is to cover our time and travel. You can have less then 8 at the workshop.
We do not have maximum numbers either. If you have large numbers we can give you the option of having an extra instructor.
If your workshop is over 1 hours drive then there are travel fees added on. This fee depends on if there are toll charges or not.
No we are a mobile service but we can book or give advice on venues in Dungarvan that can accommodate workshops.
That’s ok! All the workshops are suitable for all levels. Pottery is especially good when people have no experience because it is easier to make something that looks nice.
This is not a great idea. All the workshops have different materials so it’s best to choose your favorite!
Yes! The workshops are suitable for all ages. It would be best if having children that they are age 9 and over so that they are more able to work independently.
